Late again....

First I wanted to say Happy late 11th Birthday Caleb. His 11th birthday was April 1st. We didn't want to post on his birthday since it was April Fools day, because we didn't want to make you think that we were joking.

Also Happy late Easter I hope that everyone took time to think about what Jesus did for YOU.
Easter morning we went to church and the young adults held an Easter breakfast, and an Easter Egg Hunt for the younger children. The age limit was up to 10 Caleb was just 8 days to old to do the hunt. :(

Happy 13th Birthday Emily!!

The day has finally arrived... Emily has arrived in to the teen years! She is officially 13 and has been waking up everyday for the past couple weeks yelling out the new number till her birthday. So we're all very relieved that the day is finally here! ;) We spent the day playing Monopoly and watching a movie. And Emily's meal for her birthday included mashed potatoes, center cut ham, a fruit, and corn, It was delicious!

I just wanted to say thank you so much Emily for being my sister. I hope that we will 

continue to grow closer as the years go on and thank you for putting up with  me 

when I am wrong or make a mistake. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for your

life in the future!

Happy 9th Birthday Anna!

Happy 9th Birthday Anna! We all hope that you had an amazing day today as we celebrated your special day!

Today we had a small get together with some of Anna's friends here in town. And they all had such a wonderful time! We had pizza, cake and ice cream, played hide and seek, did lots of jump rope, and opened presents. Once again Happy Birthday Anna! I hope you had a very special day! :)

Christmas!

Like Emily said last night...Merry Christmas! We definitely had one of the best Christmas' that we've ever had! It was such a great day filled with, lots of candies, Christmas music, games, playing the Wii, and a Nerf gun war! We made for our "Christmas candies" on Saturday. They were all very delicious! Here are some pictures of our fun filled day!

A huge thank you to Mom and Dad for the Christmas presents and the amazing day that we got to spend together! It was such a relaxing day and was a blast! We hope that you all had an amazing Christmas too!

Christmas Week!

This week mother, Alesha, Anna, and Ella went to Ceder Rapids for mother's job. While Dad, Emily, Caleb, Philip, Olivia, and Xavier stayed home. While they were away we played games, cleaned the house, and started something new for the whole family. 

Friday we went to go see Michelle Bachmann here in town. After seeing all this about becoming the President. Caleb printed up some papers that read, CALEB FOR PRESIDENT. So we went with the flow and Philip joined. Well they gave their speeches at lunch and we voted Saturday at Lunch. And Philip was voted on as President. 

Dad and I came home on Wednesday with some mini Nerf guns. We enjoyed those Nerf guns so much that we got seven of them for Christmas. 

We invited some friends over tonight and ambushed them when they got into the hallway.

They stayed until 11:00 o'clock playing Nerf guns with them. 

God has truly blessed us this year. We have gotten another sibling, and we have gotten so much closer as a family.

Thank you God for your sacrifice in sending your son for us. 

Happy Late 2nd Birthday Xavier!

Yes, it's true Xavier turned 2 yesterday! I can't believe how big he's getting and the amazing personality he's developing! :) Here are some cute pictures of Xavier.
